- I wear ever so many hats but I have created this blog to help me critically reflect on a hat acquired in September 2007 - Police Chaplain to the G Division of West Mercia Constabulary. So far it has been great. I have met lots of terrific people and there is no doubt that my half lifetime spent in the police service is a great help in this new role. I am also the Baptist minister of Madeley Baptist Church in Telford, Shropshire (see madeleybaptist.org.uk).I try (with help) to organise the ecumenical activity of the churches in South Telford. In the community I am also the chair of the (Ironbridge) Gorge Parish Council.This creates an occasional diversion as Ironbridge is in the centre of a World Heritage Site.
